Indomie splashes N13.7m on winners of ‘Eat and Win’ promo

Dufil Prima Foods, makers of Nigeria’s leading noodles brand, Indomie Instant Noodles, has presented N13.7 million cash prize to 137 winners of its just concluded ‘Indomitables Eat and Win’ Promo.

Besides, it splashed prizes ranging from school bags, lunch boxes as well as caps and T-shirts worth N37 million, on 2,000 other winners.

Altogether, it announced that there were at least 2,500 winners nationwide. The promo started in May this year.

According to the organisation, the ‘Indomitables Eat and Win’ Promo is a consumer engagement initiative meant to reward loyal consumers across the nation.

Speaking on the promo in Lagos, Group Corporate Communications and Events Manager, Dufil Prima Foods Plc, Temitope Ashiwaju, reiterated that the exercise is a way of appreciating customers loyalty, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic period.

He said: “We are happy with the level of participation we got from consumers while the ‘Eat N Win’ promo lasted. This is a clear pointer to the value consumers place on the brand. Despite effects of COVID-19 on the global economy, we have decided to go ahead with the promo in order to give back to the people.

“We feel that despite the pandemic, it is important to put a smile on the faces of our teeming consumers across the country. This is why the promo ran at this time.”

Consumers were required to find unique codes at the back of the packs when they buy 10 packs of the product and then proceed to create a profile online and enter the codes on the profile to stand a chance of winning. Wrappers with the unique codes were required to redeem prizes.
