Independence anniversary: Fedpoly, Ile Oluji rector, Fasakin says Nigeria will be great

The rector of the Federal Polytechnic, Ile Oluji, Ondo State, Prof Adedayo Fasakin, has assured that with the collective resolve of all her citizens, Nigeria would surmount her present challenges and be truly great as the most populous black nation on earth.

This was contained in his anniversary greeting, titled “Happy 62nd Independence Anniversary To Fellow Nigerians,” which he signed.

In his words: “The journey to this historic milestone has been filled with ups and downs, but it has pleased God Almighty to sustain us to this moment.

“As we celebrate this day, let’s take a moment to reflect on our past, present and future as a sovereign nation, and do away with those hindrances that have been an albatross to our national Unity, Integration and Progress.”

While wishing his fellow citizens “a peaceful Independence Anniversary, and God’s divine guidance upon our Nation,” Fasakin said: “Today marks the 62nd Independence Anniversary of our dear Country, Nigeria.

“I seize this medium to wish my fellow Nigerians, and all Staff and Students of Federal Polytechnic, Ile-Oluji, Ondo State, a happy Independence Anniversary.”
