In everything … reflect

The popular saying: “In everything give thanks” has become a cliché that distracts people from its real essence. Many people give different interpretations to it. Some see in it the need to thank the Lord for everything because whatever comes from Him will always be the best for man. Yet others see in it an escapist theory that insinuates that man has no power over whatever comes to him, that both evil and good come to man as God wills it and it would be better for man to just simply thank God for it. It is indeed an escapist theory. How can man think in this direction when everything points to the contrary?

There is this other saying that order is the first law in heaven, then how can the Owner of Heaven permit disorder?

It is simply absurd to think in that manner. The Sun rises daily from the East and set in the West. The Earth continue to rotate round the Sun. In this clime, the rainy season never fails to come, thereafter the dry season and then the harmattan. The variance in intensity has been due to the harm mankind has done to the Earth.

From time immemorial, man has always reaped what he sowed. Corn brings out corn after three months; Yam brings out yam after ten months. Why then does man think he reaps arbitrarily what he does not deserve?

Do not be deceived, you reap whatever you sow more abundantly. When it is negative reaping, it is always sad and man will try to justify this as an “act of God” which he must in “humility” succumb to. Whereas, when it is a good stead, basking in the euphoria of the good fortune, he seldom thinks of where the goodies rain from. But let an unpleasant event occur, then you start hearing all sorts of gibberish – the way of the Lord is inscrutable! In everything, thank God!

The issue with man is that he has shunned simplicity. He no longer knows how to be simple in thoughts, words and deeds. His dressing has become difficult, pandering to what diseased brains bring out as fashion. He has shunned individualistic tendencies and imbibes the herd mentality – swimming with the tide and shrugging his shoulder, if you can’t beat them, then join them.

It is high time we bring reflection into our ways of life. In everything, reflect! As Abd-ru-shin stated in an aspect of His great Work, In The Light of Truth The Grail Message that no man will sign a contract without perusing it.

We should take each situation as a contract. Peruse that creeping thought, watch the word that wants to spurt out of your mouth and watch that step you want to take. In everything, reflect and thereafter, you will have cause to thank God!

There is this Yoruba adage that says that if a tree falls on another tree, we need to remove the top one first. This is part of the challenges bedeviling man today. Instead of thinking through a situation, he allows it to fester and while procrastinating on that, other issues will crop up turning his life into a maze, finding it difficult to come out and take a refreshing air. Man, in everything, reflect and you will have cause to thank God!

Abd-ru-shin also states that thinking through a situation does not take long because your intuition weighs with the speed of light. What you need do is to start practising and sooner than later, it will become part of you and you will learn in everything to reflect and thereafter have great cause to thank God!

Do not prevaricate on this, start now. Think through every situation and most importantly, if you must borrow a copy ensure you read Abd-ru-shin’s Work: In The Light of Truth The Grail Message. It opens up all issues to you. It is the navigator you need at this time!
