In a statement which he signed, titled ”Rector’s Yuletide Greetings,” and sent to The Radiance, he said: “This is to warmly rejoice and felicitate with all Staff and Students of the Federal Polytechnic, Ile-Oluji, Ondo State, most especially the Christian faithful, on the celebration of this year’s Christmas festivity.
Let me also convey my seasonal compliments to our Council Members, Principal Officers, Members of the Academic Board , the Management Committee as well as Friends of our cherished Institution on this Christmastime.
As it were, celebrating the Christmas is a significant milestone in the Christendom as it signifies the humble birth of Jesus Christ whom we all adored.
Therefore, in celebrating this year’s Christmas, we should do it in moderation and be willing to share love among ourselves and imbibe the attributes of humility and good neighbourliness which the birth of Christ epitomised.
While congratulating the entire Fedpolel Family on this occasion, I also wish to seize this medium to thank you sincerely from the bottom of my heart for your support and cooperation in the outgoing year which has translated into appreciable dividends for our Institution .
I cherished this gesture very much and I look forward to courting same in the incoming year.
Once again, I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year in advance. Thank you and God bless.”
