Ondo State Commissioner of Police Oyeyemi Adesoye Oyediran, assisted by the command’s spokeswoman Funmilayo Odunlami, presenting Yuletide gifts to widows of policemen in the command
Police Inspector-General, Mr Alkali Baba Usman, has gifted widows of late policemen in Ondo State Command N24.48 million as this year’s Yuletide season approaches.
A statement by police spokeswoman in the state, Mrs Funmilayo Odunlami, a superintendent of police, said that the gift is to help ease the beneficiaries’ financial burden.
She said that the state police boss, CP Oyeyemi Adesoye Oyediran presented the cheques to the beneficiaries on behalf of the Inspector-General of Police and urged them to be prudent with the money.
According to her, “the families in turn, appreciated the unflinching support received from the Inspector-General of Police and the Command at large.”
