The Provost, College of Health Sciences and Technology Idah, Kogi state, Comrade Nuhu Solomon Anyegwu has been commended for his efforts at repositioning the institution among its peers.
Speaking at the presentation ceremony of an award of “Distinguished Administrator / Distinguished Institution” by the Online Media Practitioners Association of Nigeria (OMPAN) in the campus, Prince Mohmud Okpanachi, who represented the traditional ruler of the institution’s hosting community, said the present leadership of the institution has shown an exemplary leadership with a purpose.
According to him, Anyegwu’s leadership is a sincere, purposeful and dedicated with a focus.
He noted that the meaningful development recorded during his tenure in the college, is a testimony that he means well for the institution. He added that the prevailing peaceful co-existence between the institution and the hosting community attests to the leadership qualities of the present administration.
He appreciated the association for picking the institution among its peers for recognition, which he said indicates the tireless efforts of the good team directing affairs of the institution.
In his response, Anyegwu appreciated the association for recognising the institution and himself, noting that the success so far recorded in the institution was through the collective efforts of the management, staff, students, host community and the state government.
He promised to forge ahead to make the institution best among its peers in the country.
