The Directorate of Physical Planning, DPP, of the Federal Polytechnic, Ile-Oluji, Ondo State will hold its sixth Annual Lecture today, Wednesday, 12th October, 2022 at the Twin Auditorium by 10:00 a.m. prompt.
A statement by the institution’s Deputy Registrar, Information & Protocol, Mr Sanmi Enigbokan, said that the Lecture which is to be delivered by a professional Estate Surveyor, ESV. Dapo Atere, FNIVS, from Jaiyeola Adeyanju Group Practice, Akure, will focus on ” The Imperative Of Facility Management As A Panacea To Sustainable Infrastructure In Public Institutions In Nigeria”.
He said the Rector of the Institution, Prof. Emmanuel Fasakin, is expected to grace the occasion with members of his Management alongside other dignitaries , Staff and Students of the Polytechnic.
The Directorate’s Annual Lecture Series came on board in 2017 as part of the need to raise awareness on the importance and sustainability of the built environment in Nigeria .
Enigbokan added that today’s Lecture, which is the 2022 Series, promises to be an eye-opener in the facility management of our public institutions nationwide.
