The Registrar of the Federal Polytechnic, Ile-Oluji, Ondo State, Mr Felix Olufeyisayo Adetula (JP), will today, Thursday, 16th January, 2020, be conferred with the “Pillar of Academics” honour by an Akure based Magazine, Chronicle, at the Polytechnic’s Twin Auditorium by 12 noon.
A statement by the institution’s Head, Information, Protocol and Passages, Mr Sanmi Enigbokan, said that the investiture ceremony is expected to attract family members and friends of the awardee as well as members of the Polytechnic Community.
It said that the occasion will also feature a lecture presentation by the Proprietor of New Era High School, Ile-Oluji, Prof. Adeduro Adegeye on the topic: “Decline in Standard of Education: Causes, Implications and Antidote”.
Mr Abiodun Akinfolarin, an erstwhile University Librarian of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko, will preside over the investiture ceremony, while the Rector of the Polytechnic, Prof.Emmanuel Adedayo Fasakin, will be the special Guest of Honour at the event.
According to the statement: “In a congratulatory message, the Rector felicitated with the awardee on this well-deserved recognition and wished him more fruitful attainments in life.
Staff and Students of the Polytechnic are encouraged to attend the investiture ceremony as scheduled.”
