The rector of the Federal Polytechnic, Ile Oluji, Ondo State, Prof Adedayo Fasakin, has rejoiced with the Muslims in the institution and across the country as they mark this year’s Eid-el-Maulud.
In a statement titled “Happy Eid-el-Maulud to our Muslim Community,” he said: “This is to felicitate with our Muslim Brothers and Sisters in Federal Polytechnic, Ile-Oluji, Ondo State in particular,and the entire Muslim Community across Ondo State and Nigeria in general, on the commemoration of this year’s Eid-el- Maulud.
“In marking this year’s birth of Prophet Mohammed (Peace be upon him), I charge us to live in peace, humility, harmony and love in our day-to-day relationship as exemplified by the Holy Prophet.
“Let’s say No to those devices and vices that tend to pull us apart as a people under the watch of Allah.
“Let’s seize this occasion to put smiles on the faces of the less privileged, the needy and the homeless.
“Happy Eid-el-Maulud to our Muslim Community once again, and congratulations to everyone of us for being alive to witness this occasion.”
