Fedpoly Ile Oluji rector, Fasakin greets Muslims at Eid-el-Maulud

Celebration Education

The rector of Federal Polytechnic, Ile Oluji, Ondo State, Prof Adedayo Fasakin, has felicitated with Muslims nationwide on the commemoration of the birthday of Prophet Mohammed.

In a statement personally signed by him, he said: “On behalf of the Council, Academic Board, Management, Staff and Students of the Federal Polytechnic, Ile-Oluji, Ondo State, I warmly felicitate with our Muslim brothers and sisters in particular, and all Nigerians in general, on the commemoration of the birthday of Prophet Mohammed (PBUH).

The birth of the Holy Prophet is a succinct reminder to us to humble ourselves in the services of Allah and to love one another in the onerous task of building a just, fair and egalitarian society where nobody is oppressed or denied opportunities on the basis of religion, tribe, colour and creed.

It is particularly gratifying to note that this month of November is obviously unique to us in FEDPOLEL because it is the month of double celebrations in the sense that it marks the birth of the revered Prophet Mohammed and our maiden convocation ceremony which has been slated for November 22-28, 2019.

As we mark today in honour of the Holy Prophet, I admonish us to continue to pray for our Nation and for the success of our forthcoming Convocation Ceremony.

Wishing you all a happy Eid-el-Maulud Celebration.”
