The Rector of the Federal Polytechnic, Ile Oluji, FEDPOLEL, Prof Emmanuel Adedayo Fasakin, has wished Muslims in the institution and across the country a joyful festival as they celebrate the Eid-el-Fitr.
In his goodwill message signed by him and sent on behalf of the entire staff and students of the institution, he felicitated with the Muslims on the occasion of Eid-el-FitrEid-el-Fitri celebration, which marks the end of the Ramadan fasting.
He said: “On behalf of the entire Staff and Students of the Federal Polytechnic, Ile-Oluji, Ondo State, I sincerely felicitate with our Muslim brothers and sisters in the Institution and across Nigeria on the occasion of this year’s Eid-el-Fitri celebration, which marks the end of the Ramadan fasting.
The self-abnegation displayed during the fasting period has shown that we’re all equal before Allah irrespective of our individual statuses, and it is only Allah that could accede to our supplications when genuinely made.
I, therefore, encourage us to celebrate this festivity in low-key, and to continue to love one another in the spirit of brotherliness and forgiveness so that our prayers will receive Allah’s merciful blessings.
Let us also be mindful to uphold all precautionary measures spelt out by the Government to curtail the spread of Covid-19 pandemic in the Country.
Please stay safe as I warmly wish you all a happy celebration and Barka De Sallah.”
