- Conferment slated for December 19 in Akure
The Rector of Federal Polytechnic, Ile-Oluji, Ondo State, Prof Emmanuel Adedayo Fasakin, has bagged the 2021 head of higher institution in Ondo State award.
A statement on Wednesday by the institution’s Head, Information, Protocol & Passages, Mr Sanmi Enigbokan, said: “The Rector of Federal Polytechnic, Ile-Oluji, Ondo State, Prof Emmanuel Adedayo Fasakin, will on Sunday, 19th December, 2021 add another feather to his cap as a recipient of the award of Head of Higher Institution of the Year in Ondo State.
This networth award is to be bestowed on the Rector by the popular Sunshine Standard Magazine in recognition of his strong passion for excellence and exemplary leadership qualities which had been brought to bear on the rapid development of the young Institution within a short time.
The auspicious event has been billed to hold at Blissworld Hotel, Ijapo Estate, Akure and will be preceded by a lecture to be delivered by Prof. Olu Adeyemi of the Department of Political Science, Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba- Akoko on the theme: “Repositioning Ondo State for Greatness: The Expected Roles of Stakeholders.”
Expected at the award ceremony are important dignitaries from all walks of life including the Principal Officers and Staff of the Institution.
