The pioneer and incumbent Rector of the Federal Polytechnic, Ile-Oluji, Ondo State, Prof. Emmanuel Adedayo Fasakin, will on Sunday, 3rd of July, 2022 be inducted into the Ondo State Hall of Fame as Pillar of Education Development in Nigeria, at the Dome Event Centre, Akure by 2:00 p.m.
This was contained in a statement by the institution’s Deputy Registrar, Information & Protocol, Mr Sanmi Enigbokan.
According to the statement: “This recognition is in appreciation of the Rector’s indomitable passion for human capital development within Ondo State and Nigeria at large.
“The auspicious event is expected to be attended by the creme de la creme in the Sunshine State, including the Executive Governor of Ondo State, His Excellency, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN; Deputy Governor, His Excellency, Hon. Lucky Aiyedatiwa; Top Government Functionaries; Royal Fathers as well as Management and Friends of the Polytechnic Community.
“The programme which is being facilitated by the African Impact Leadership Platform will also feature public presentation of a book on “Who is Who in Ondo State”, a public lecture on ” Unlocking the hidden treasures in Ondo State for Economic Development”, and induction of some personalities, among others.
“The Polytechnic Community heartily felicitates its performing Rector for this noble recognition.”
