The Rector of the Federal Polytechnic, Ile Oluji, Prof Emmanuel Adedayo Fasakin, has urged Ondo State Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, to vigorously pursue his first term undying commitments in the areas of Infrastructure, Education, Health and Security during his incoming second term in office.
He gave the advice in a congratulatory message to the governor on his inauguration for a second term of office, which kicks off on Wednesday February 24.
In the message, which he personally signed, Fasakin said: “On behalf of the Academic Board, Management, Staff and Students of the Federal Polytechnic, Ile-Oluji, Ondo State, I heartily felicitate and congratulate the Executive Governor of Ondo State, His Excellency, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, on the occasion of his re-election and subsequent inauguration as the Governor of our Sunshine State for a second term in office on Wednesday, 24th February, 2021.
“Today’s occasion is another milestone in the history of our Sunshine State as it affords all and sundry the opportunity to celebrate your sterling leadership qualities and demonstrable integrity as a talk-and-do Governor of Ondo State.
“Your undying commitments in the areas of Infrastructure, Education, Health and Security during your first term in office are laudable signposts which should be pursued with rigour and vigour during your second term in office.
“It is our fervent prayer at FEDPOLEL that God Almighty will direct you aright in the onerous task of piloting the affairs of our dear State to an enviable height among its contemporaries.
“Once again, congratulations to Mr Governor on this glorious occasion.”
