Falae’s PA, Raji thanks guests at mother’s 8th day Fidau prayers

Retired Captain Moshood Adekunle Raji, who is the Personal Assistant to the Elder Statesman, former Secretary to the Federal Government and the Olu-Abo of Ilu-Abo, in Ondo State, Oba Olu Falae, CFR, GCON, has thanked the eminent Nigerians who attended the 8th Day Fidau Prayers and Final Burial of his departed mother on August 30, 2023, in Ede, Osun State.

In a statement which he issued on behalf of his family on Monday, Raji said: “I hereby show my gratitude first to HRM, Oba, Dr. Olu. Falae, CFR, GCON, the Olu-Abo of Ilu-Abo, Akure and Family; the Deji Of Akure Kingdom, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Dr. Aladetoyinbo Aladelusi, Ogunlade II, CFR; Pa Ruben Famuyide Fasoranti and Family.

“I thank His Excellency , Engr Seyi Makinde, the Governor of Oyo State; Members of the Nigerian Army; the Nigeria Police Force, Ondo State Command, who were led by Supol Sunmonu, the Commander, RRS Ondo State; Dr. Adeola Badru; Mr. Elisha Akanni of the great Irawo Kingdom; Alhaji & Alhaja Lawal; Engr Remi Olajide; Chief Ralph Osayameh and family; and all the other guests.

“I also thank the Ibadan Muslim Women Circle; Engr Moloma from Ibadan; Alhaji Alhassan Mahamood from NAFDAC; Deaconess Fausiat Bayode from Sango-Ota; my mother’s family from Babanla Pegba; and lastly the Alapa Moni-won-dundun’s.”

The departed Madam Raji passed on on August 22, 2023 and was buried according to the Islamic rites in her Ede, Osun State home on August 23, 2023.
