Nigeria’s former Envoy to Togo and leading Ondo South Senatorial District Aspirant, Ambassador Sola Iji, has congratulated the All Progressives Congress, APC, on its successful conduct of the just concluded National Convention.
He also congratulated the National Chairman, Senator Abdullahi Adamu, and other National Officers who emerged from the exercise.
His message, which was dated March 27, and signed by the Director General of Ambassador Sola Iji Campaign Organisation (ASICO), Onibudo ‘Wole Iroaye, was entitled “Ambassador Sola Iji congratulates APC new National Officers on their emergence and the Party on its successful holding of the Convention.”
It said: “Nigeria’s former Envoy to Togo and leading Ondo South Senatorial District Aspirant, Ambassador Sola Iji, heartily congratulates our Great Party, the All Progressives Congress, APC, on its successful conduct of the just concluded National Convention.
“Also he congratulates our new Party National Chairman, Senator Abdullahi Adamu; the National Secretary, Otunba Iyiola Omisore; National Vice Chairman (South West), Hon Isaac Kekemeke and all the new National Officers who emerged at the Convention.
“Ambassador Iji specially commends the ingenuity of His Excellency, President Muhammadu Buhari, whose wisdom and timely intervention laid the foundation for, and ensured the resounding success recorded at the hitch-free Convention.
“Also, he praises the Vice President, His Excellency, Prof Yemi Osinbajo; APC National Leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu; the pioneer Chairman of our Great Party and former Governor of Osun State, Chief Bisi Akande; the Chairman of APC Governors in South West, Chairman of Southern Governors’ Forum and Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, for their deft and invaluable contributions to the success of the exercise.
“While wishing the new officers the wisdom and maturity with which to carry out their duties as shining examples in managing our Great Party, Ambassador Iji enjoins all APC members nationwide to give the new National Executive Committee of our Great Party the maximum support and cooperation needed to successfully run the affairs of the largest Party in Africa.
