In a statement, the university’s spokesman, Mr Williams Olufunmi, said the Vice-Chancellor, Prof Philip Gbenro Oguntunde described the programmes as dynamic, forward-looking, and “deliberately designed to meet global professional demands and equip students with skills for sustainable and competitive careers.”
Oguntunde reportedly declared this while addressing a cross-section of school administrators at a stakeholders forum.
According to the statement, the Vice-Chancellor stressed that these initiatives will continue to give Elizade graduates and postgraduates a strong edge as products of a truly world-class university.
It said, “In a bold move to align education with the fast-changing global economy, Elizade University has convened key strategic stakeholders to chart clearer, more rewarding career pathways for young people.”
Olufunmi said, “Addressing a cross-section of school administrators, the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Philip Gbenro Oguntunde, declared that Elizade University is ahead of the curve in responding to emerging academic and professional trends shaping the 21st century workforce.”
According to the statement, “Reinforcing this vision, the Registrar, Omololu Adegbenro, noted that global economic realities are being carefully integrated into the curricula across programmes, ensuring that Elizade University graduates remain relevant, adaptable, and in demand worldwide.
“Participants at the stakeholders’ engagement praised the initiative, describing it as timely and impactful.
“They called for its expansion to include more schools, noting that the mutual benefits far outweigh the current scope and will further strengthen youth career development.
“With this strategic engagement, Elizade University continues to affirm its commitment to innovation, relevance, and the preparation of future-ready graduates for a rapidly evolving world.”
