Eid-el Kabir: Adeleke assures Muslims of rewards

Osun State Senator Ademola Adeleke, has assured Muslims in the state of rewards for their  perseverance  and sacrifices through  continuous delivery of impactful governance.

In a goodwill message  commemorate the Eid-el Kabir, he congratulated Muslims in the state and beyond, urging them to reflect on the spiritual lessons of Eid-el-Kabir — particularly the virtues of faith, devotion, and sacrifice as exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim (ASW) and his son, Prophet Ismail (ASW).

He said,  “When Allah asked Prophet Ibrahim to sacrifice his son, he did not hesitate. That extraordinary submission to the will of Allah brought immense reward”.

According to him, the festival is not just a celebration, but a profound moment of renewal — a time to deepen faith and demonstrate compassion, particularly to those in distress.

“This is a sacred moment to renew our commitment to helping others and supporting efforts that elevate our communities,”.

Adeleke praised his people  for their resilience, resourcefulness, and dedication to growth, saying that their enduring support has empowered his administration to stay focused on its transformative agenda.

“Osun is blessed to have people of firm resolve for progress. Through perseverance and a shared commitment to development, our people have stood with us in our mission to build hope and transform lives,” he noted.

Highlighting various ongoing initiatives under his administration, the Governor assured that the state government is working relentlessly to meet public expectations and deliver on promises, despite past challenges.

“We are taking visible, impactful steps to reward the trust placed in us — replacing disappointments of the past with hope for a brighter future,” he said.

He concluded by calling for continued prayers and support from the people of Osun as the administration strives to make the state “the envy of not only other states in Nigeria but across the African continent.”
