*What is cholesterol?*

Cholesterol is a waxy, fat-like substance found in every cell in the body. It is needed by the body to produce hormones, vitamin D, and substances that help to digest food.

However, there are “bad” and “good” cholesterol.

High (bad) cholesterol is when there is too much of a fatty substance called cholesterol in the blood.

It is mainly caused by eating fatty foods, lack of exercise, obesity, smoking, and drinking alcohol. This also works for families.

Pure honey, like Tropicalbee honey, can be used to treat high cholesterol.

Better still, a healthy diet and more exercise can lower the body’s cholesterol levels.

High cholesterol can be treated by drinking a mixture of 1 tablespoon of warm honey and ΒΌ teaspoon of cinnamon powder.

However, for best results, this mixture should be consumed regularly for three days.
