A statement on Monday by the agency’s spokesperson, Dele Oyewale, said the suspects were arrested in the Ogbomoso area of the state with six trucks fully loaded with lithium.
It said this followed credible intelligence regarding their alleged involvement in the illegal extraction of solid mineral resources, particularly lithium, and the subsequent transportation of these resources to unknown destinations.
