One of the sons of the iconic Juju music megastar, Chief Ebenezer Obey-Fabiyi, Olayinka Olalekan Obey-Fabiyi, aged 48 has passed on.
Quoting sources, The Nation reports that Olayinka died on Friday, while his remains were interred on Saturday.
Reportedly, the cause of the death was yet to be ascertained as at the time of filing this report.
With over 50 years of active singing, Ebenezer Obey is internationally recognised for evolving a unique juju sound from highlife music.
An evangelist, Obey, popularly known as Baba Miliki and Baba Commander, lost his wife of 48 years Lady Juliana Obey-Fabiyi at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital on August 23, 2011.
She was aged 67.
