The Chairman of Ika North-East Local Government Area, Hon. Hunkamma Monday Odigwe, has paid glowing tribute to the Deputy Governor of Delta State, Monday Onyeme, describing him as a quintessential leader as he marks his 61st birthday.
In a statement issued by his media unit, Odigwe congratulated the Deputy Governor on the milestone, noting that his life and career have been defined by dedication, humility, and an unwavering commitment to public service.
He praised Onyeme’s leadership qualities, which he said have continued to positively influence governance and development across Delta State.
According to the council chairman, the Deputy Governor has demonstrated exceptional loyalty and steadfast support to the Governor of the state, Sheriff Oborevwori, thereby contributing significantly to the smooth running of the administration and the delivery of democratic dividends to the people.
Odigwe further commended Onyeme’s calm disposition, administrative competence, and inclusive leadership style, describing him as a dependable statesman whose wealth of experience has continued to strengthen the state’s governance structure.
He added that the celebrant remains a source of inspiration to younger politicians and public office holders who aspire to serve with integrity and purpose.
“As a seasoned administrator and accomplished professional, your contributions to the growth and stability of Delta State are both remarkable and enduring. Your commitment to duty and your passion for service stand you out as a true leader,” Odigwe stated.
While celebrating the Deputy Governor’s achievements, the council boss also prayed for continued good health, wisdom, and strength for Onyeme to sustain his service to the state and humanity at large.
He expressed confidence that the years ahead would bring even greater accomplishments and fulfillment.
Odigwe extended his warm wishes to the Onyeme family, praying for continued joy, unity, and many more years of celebration.
