CIPM Ondo’s re-elected executives
The Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria ( CIPM), Ondo State Branch has reelected all its Executive Committee members for another term to underscore their satisfactory performance and full support for the leadership.
At the Annual General Meeting( AGM) held on Thursday( 27-03-2025) in Akure, the Returning Officer, Mr. Igbekele Jatuwase, a former branch Chairman and the Permanent Secretary ODIEC, announced the results for which all the executive members returned unopposed through an affirmative votes by members present physically and virtually.
Following the election, the representative from the HQ, Mrs. Seyi Semughana swore in the new executives and then appreciated the executive team for the successes recorded.
Mrs. Semughana who is the South West Zonal officer urged the executives to work together and called for an improved membership mobilization( enrollment )emphasizing that there was a special discount for public servants. She also charged members to support the branch leadership.
Earlier, the outgoing Secretary, Financial Secretary and Treasurer took turns to present the branch activities report and financial reports which were unanimously ratified by members with all the reports showing an improvement over the previous year.
The reelected executives are:
- Chairman: Mr. Sola Lebile;
- Vice Chairman: Mrs. Pamela Elekwachi;
- General Secretary: Barrister Natasha Abayomi;
- Assistant General Secretary/PRO: Mr. Akintan Akinyemi;
- Treasurer: Mrs. Oluwasesan Tope;
- Financial Secretary: Mr. Gbadebo Oyewo;
- Ex Officio I: Mr. Omirin Sunday; and
- Ex Officio II: Mrs. Nene Ogunleye.
In his acceptance Speech, the reelected Chairman appreciated members for giving the exco another term to serve.
Lebile amplified what the Zonal officer called for support from members to actual the vision of the branch. Also, he assured that the executives would work harder to surpass the achievements recorded during the first tenure.
During the meeting, a member of the Conference Planning Committee, Dr. Ishioma Elora Onah spoke on the Institute’s upcoming international conference ( ICE) holding in Abuja later in the year and urged members to register early for the high profile event.
The hybrid meeting which lasted for two hours paraded some past branch Chairmen and leaders, including Pastor Jide Ekpobomini, Pastor Kayode Ogundele, former Head of Service, Mrs. Dare- Atunse, the Permanent Secretary Office of Establishments and Training, and Mr. Ageh Ayodeji, among others.
