Chaney Jones has debunked reports that she and Kanye West have broken up.
She shared a montage to Instagram that featured photos of her and West throughout their courtship to celebrate his 45th birthday, and she wrote over it, “Happy birthday baby I love youuuuu.”
Also, she refuted reports directly in a comment on TMZ’s post, writing, “Please stop posting and spreading fake news about my relationship. Have some respect, it’s his birthday.”
On Wednesday afternoon, she posted another video of the pair in a car with the caption, “Laughing with you is my favorite.”
Jones’ tribute comes after she wiped all photos of her and the Yeezy fashion designer from her Instagram grid, which only further fueled the breakup rumors.
Jones and Kanye first sparked romance rumors in February, and she later confirmed their relationship by posting photos from a “Date Night.” The romance appeared to turn serious when Jones tattooed his name on her wrist.
In a story that went viral on Wednesday, TMZ, quoting sources close to the two stars, had reported that the couple had split following their trip to Japan.
Kanye and Jones got together in February following his breakup with model Julia Fox. Soon after, Jones was spotted at Ye’s “Donda 2” events.
After then, they were spotted in photographs together and eventually came public as boyfriend and girlfriend.
Since his split from Kim Kardashian last year, Fox was Ye’s first relationship, and the couple solidified their status in a series of high-profile, staged photoshoots.
One photo showed them canoodling and trying on clothes in a hotel suite surrounded by assistants, while another showed Fox dressed in an all-black custom leather outfit with echoes of her past as a professional dominatrix as she laid across a dinner table while Kanye pretended to tuck her in with a knife and fork.
