Nigeria’s immediate former President Muhammadu Buhari has died.
His death was confirmed on Sunday afternoon by his former spokesman, Mallam Garba Shehu,
Shehu said Buhari died on Sunday at a hospital in the United Kingdom.
According to the statement, “The family of the former president has announced the passing on of the former president, Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR, this afternoon in a clinic in London.
“May Allah accept him in Aljannatul Firdaus.”
Further details surrounding his death are yet to be disclosed.
