Oftentimes, one sits in shameful contemplation of what the present time will be remembered for by posterity.
Shameful because, with the Fulfilment of the Second Coming of Christ last century, one would have expected the promised Thousand-Year Reign of Peace to set in in its full splendour.
The general goodwill, love, peace and harmony amongst all mankind would have been an enviable legacy for which future generations remember us.
But, that was not to be!
After all, how many of us pay heed to our spiritual well-being in a world that is neck deep in intellectual pursuits and unhealthy competitions!
The vast majority of us has been so engrossed in materialism that the minority easily questions if the thorns lacing the narrow path are not rather inflicting too many sharp piercings.
So, even as more than half of the world population at the time of Christ’s Return were not supposed to be here on earth, the few people who had the longing for the spiritual, upon casting a glance at their gloomy environment, weakly fell to the influence of the majority!
The deeds of madness prevalent everywhere today call to question what percentage of mankind is not supposed to be here.
But these dark souls are homeless spiritual beings who found their way here through the strong power of attraction of their homogeneous species already present on earth.
Knowing they are homeless, they thereby strive to turn this earth into their home by clinging tenaciously to material things and trying to push others out of the way.
But, the Wisdom of GOD rules the world!
And every generation must have a legacy to leave behind!
We mostly generated thoughts of hatred, anger, enmity, greed, lust, acquisition and all else except LOVE.
These thoughts are virulent, and culminated in the corrosive Corona Virus Disease!
Yes, we brought this scourge upon ourselves!
It brought to clear view the historical and spiritual perspectives of the existence of man on earth today that we will be remembered for!
Just a single unseen “enemy” shut down not only every international border, but also all the social, political, economic and even religious activities therein at a time no nation was at war with the other!
Even the nations that flaunted their military might suddenly become impotent and scampered to the hopeful safety of their locked doors in a declared lockdown!
Everybody was forced by the government of the day to stay at home! Judge yourselves there! Either the home will be strengthened or it is ripped apart!
Nature breathes fresh air for once while we take our filth right back to our homes!
Posterity will wonder how we survived it, whereas we are happy to imprint our times on the historical records!
