The Academic Staff Union of Secondary Schools (ASUSS) has congratulated Dr. Mrs. Ronke Soyombo on her appointment as the Registrar and Chief Executive Officer of the Teachers’ Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN).
In a statement issued in Abuja by the President, Comrade Adigun and Secretary-General, Comrade Kenneth Okoh, the union described her appointment as a well-deserved recognition of her dogged commitment to the education sector and her vast experience in educational administration and policy development.
It noted that her emergence at the helm of the TRCN comes at a crucial time when the teaching profession in Nigeria requires visionary leadership, standardisation, and renewed emphasis on professionalism and ethics.

Mrs. Soyombo, a seasoned educationist and former Special Adviser on Education in Ogun State, brings to the TRCN decades of experience and a reputation for excellence in educational reform and policy execution.
