All Progressives Congress, (APC) House of Representatives candidate for Irele/Okitipupa Federal Constituency of Ondo State in the forthcoming 2023 National Assembly Elections, Prince Okunjimi Odimayo has congratulated Governor Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu, SAN, on his conferment with the National Award of Commander of the Order of the Niger, (CON) by President Muhammadu Buhari, at a ceremony in Abuja on Tuesday.
In a statement which he signed, he described the national honour as “another golden feather added to the already filled red cap of the highly respected Ondo State Governor and the Generalisimo of Amotekun Corps in the Southern part of Nigeria.”
The Ode-Irele born Prince and business mogul also felicitated with another recipient of Officer of Order of Niger (OON), Prof. Adedayo Faduyile, an Ikale Prince and special adviser on Health Matters to Akeredolu.
Odimayo said: “It gladdens my heart to be associated with these great men of Honours who had done us proud, both in their private practices and public administrations; cumulatively in the worthy National Honours bestowed on the two distinguished personalities by President Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR.
“The honour done today (Tuesday October 11) on our workaholic, bold, brave, Mr. Talk & Do Governor is not coming to us as a surprise, but as a confirmation and further recognition of the accomplishments of Governor Akeredolu as a dutiful public administrator and an astute lawyer.
“I also use this all important occasion of the confinement of National Honour of Commander of the Order Niger (CON) on Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN to facilitate with him, the wife of the Governor, Mrs. Betty Anyanwu-Akeredolu, the entire Akeredolu family, Ondo State people and Nigeria in general.
“This honour is a testimony and pointer to Akeredolu’s giant strides in many public sectors in the administration of the State, since assumption of office, especially in the area of security of lives and property of the citizenry especially in the Southwest region.
