The arrested trailer loaded with suspected bandits
The Amotekun Corps in Ondo State on Sunday arrested a trailer full of suspected bandits in Akure the state capital.
City movers reporter, Bayo Adediran, who witnessed the senario and followed them to Amotekun office, said the suspects were arrested at about 5.25pm.
According to him, “At about 5.25 p.m today Sunday 11th January, 2026, Amotekun Corps arrested a trailer ful of suspected bandits in Ondo State Capital, Akure precisely at Old Garrage.
“The accusted trailer was led to Amotekun office and hundreds of Akure youths followed them to the office.
“However, concerned Akure youths are suspecting that the trailer is llkely loaded with dangerous weapons.”
Adediran told The Radiance that the total number of the suspected bandits could not be ascertained, but that those of them who could be easily seen on top of the “big” trailer would be “nothing less than 30.”
