Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke, has assured the people of Modakeke of his administration’s continued commitment to infrastructural development and inclusive governance across the ancient town.
He gave the assurance on Saturday during the 2025 Akoraye Day celebration, where sons and daughters of Modakeke converged in large numbers to reaffirm their support for his second-term re-election bid.
Commending the people for sustaining peace and unity in the town, Governor Adeleke announced that his administration has approved the construction of Famia Road beside the AP/Orona/Itasin axis, as well as the already completed two-kilometre Celestial/Ajape Road.
He highlighted several developmental projects executed by his administration in Modakeke and across the state, particularly in the education sector, describing them as dividends of good governance.
According to the governor, projects delivered in Modakeke include the construction of two blocks of classrooms at Baptist Primary School, Iraye; two blocks of classrooms at CAC Primary School, Ondo Road; renovation of the school hall at St. Stephen’s ‘A’ Primary School, Itasin; three blocks of classrooms at Community Primary School, Irebami; and three blocks of classrooms at St. Stephen’s ‘C’ Primary School.
Governor Adeleke noted that similar projects have been executed in other towns across the 30 local government areas of Osun State, reaffirming his administration’s commitment to balanced development.
As the 2026 governorship election approaches, the governor appealed for the continued support of the people of Modakeke.
“In 2026, we still need your massive support. We must vote in line with our shared understanding, unity, and partnership,” he said.
