Ondo state Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, will on Friday present the 2021 budget to the state house of Assembly.
Already, the assembly has affirmed that the budget would be presented to it as stipulated.
Chairman, House Ad hoc Committee on Information, Hon Olugbenga Omole yesterday confirmed this in a telephone interview with The Hope.
He said that the house is ready to receive the budget and do what is expected of them.
He said: “It is our constitutional responsibility to ensure that the budget is all inclusive. Members will continue to support every move that will bring development to the state”.
In the past few days, heads of government Ministries, Departments and Agencies have been coming up with their projected inputs into the 2021 appropriation bill.
The development has made the Governor’s Office,venue of Treasury Board a centre of activities as chief executives and accounting officers of MDAs thronged in to defend their projections before the Governor.
All MDAs are striving to meet up even as government prepares to make the appropriation bill available as soon as possible.
The 2021 appropriation bill is expected to be presented to the state House of Assembly on Friday this week.
