Ondo State Governor, Dr Lucky Aiyedatiwa, on Monday began a statewide tour to assess the impact of his administration’s programmes at the grassroots.
The tour will take him to the state’s 18 local government Areas also to thank residents for their support, interact with communities and convey goodwill messages ahead of Christmas and the New Year.
A statement by the Special Adviser on Legislative and Party Affairs, Kolawole Babatunde, said the tour will enable the governor to assess the impact of his administration’s flagship initiatives, the OUR EASE Agenda and the Renewed Hope programme, on the lives of the people.
It said the exercise would provide first-hand feedback from residents across the state on the implementation of government policies and programmes.
The itinerary showed that the governor began the tour on Monday, December 15, with visits to Oke-Agbe in Akoko North West at 10am, Ikare in Akoko North East at 12 noon, Isua-Akoko in Akoko South East at 2pm and Oka-Akoko in Akoko South West at 4pm.
On Tuesday, December 16, the tour train moves to Igbaraoke in Ifedore Local Government Area at 10am, before proceeding to Makinde Hall, Idanre, in Idanre Local Government Area at 12 noon.
Wednesday, December 17, will see the governor visit Ifon in Ose Local Government Area at 11am, Owo at 2pm and Iju/Itaogbolu in Akure North at 4pm.
Activities resume on Saturday, December 20, with engagements in Ile-Oluji in Ile-Oluji/Okeigbo Local Government Area at 11am, Ondo town in Ondo West at 1pm and Bolorunduro in Ondo East at 4pm.
The governor is scheduled to visit Igbokoda in Ilaje Local Government Area on Sunday, December 21, after Sunday service, at 3pm.
On Monday, December 22, the tour continues with stops at Igbekebo in Ese Odo at 10am, Irele at 1pm, Okitipupa at 3pm and Ore in Odigbo Local Government Area at 5pm.
The statewide tour will be rounded off on Tuesday, December 23, with a visit to Akure City Hall in Akure South Local Government Area at 1pm.
