Ondo State Governor, Hon Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has appointed Hon. Tayo Oluwatuyi (Tukana) as the Secretary to the State Government (SSG).
He also appointed Mr. Abayomi Olasanya as the Chief of Protocol.
A statement on Wednesday by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan said that both appointments take immediate effect.
Oluwatuyi had served briefly as Secretary to the State Government in the administration of the departed Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu following the resignation of Mr Ifedayo Abegunde (Abena) from that post in July 2020. He also served as the commissioner for Natural Resources in that administration.
An indigene of Akure and a seasoned politician, the new SSG also served as a commissioner in the administration of former Governor Olusegun Mimiko.
