Aisha Buhari invites presidential aspirants to dinner

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo; former Vice President Atiku Abubakar; Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike; ex-Lagos State Governor, Senator Bola Tinubu and others in the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, and opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, have been invited to an Iftar dinner at the Presidential Villa on Saturday.

They are expected to converge on the State House Conference Centre at 06:30 pm on Saturday, April 23, 2022.

In an invitation letter, the invitees were instructed not to come along with their mobile devices, except for their invitation cards which would serve as their entry pass.

However, this directive will not apply to Vice President Yemi Osinbajo and governors and ministers who are expected to be at the meeting; it was learnt.

.Specifically, the invitation card for the event, which was in circulation on Thursday, advised those participating not to come along with their mobile devices, stating that their invitation cards would serve as their entry pass.

The Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Office of the First Lady, Aliyu Abdullah, clarified that it is standard protocol for guests at events in the President Villa, to be requested not to go in with phones.
