Friends, please join me to celebrate another buddy of mine, Prince Rotimi Obamuwagun, who has just been elected as the Olumoru of Imoru Kingdom in Ose Local Government Area of Ondo State.
I have become the pal of two powerful kings.
Writing about the Olumoru-elect, Prince Obamuwagun would take a whole day. But he is definitely Royal, he is very tall and walks tall, fearless, a dogged fighter, loving and very calm but would not suffer the fool gladly.
Those who know him would attest to these qualities.
A veteran journalist, one time Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, in Ondo State and later the Deputy President of the NUJ, Obamuwagun is well traveled and connected. All these he would bring to bare as he sits on the ancient throne of his fore fathers.
I pray for God’s wisdom during his reign as Oba.
Kabiyesi oooo, May your reign be long, peaceful and bring progress to the Imoru Community and Ondo State as a whole.
