The wife of the Governor of Osun state, Erelu Ngozi Adeleke has expressed readiness to continue to put smiles on the faces of the less privileged during a visit to the Uniosun Teaching Hospital ,Osogbo as part of activities to mark her 50th birthday.
At the surprise visit during which she was received by the Chief Medical Director of the hospital, Professor Olaitan, she donated diapers and cash to a woman who had a baby on a day which coincided with her birthday.
Accompanied by wives of Commissioners and lawmakers in the sstate, she expressed joy at the ante natal unit of the hospital where she fraternized with a new-born child and its family.
She described every 28th day of August as a day very dear to her heart as a woman and mother whom dthe Lord has spared to live to witness His many blessings in her life at 50.
The father of the baby, Mr Olamide Babalola appreciated the kind gesture of Erelu Adeleke with a prayer that she will live long in good health and endless accomplishments.
Earlier, the wives of the Commissioners including the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Information and Public Enlightenment who doubles as the wife of the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters, Mrs Abimbola Babatunde threw an early morning surprise birthday party with a presentation of a large and beautifully designed photo frame to the *birthday girl* at her husband’s Ede country home.
Mrs. Adeleke who was overwhelmed by the outpouring of love to her expressed gratitude for the thoughtfulness of the wives of the Commissioners and other guests including a political group known as *Adeleke Babes* who also came to felicitate her on the occasion .
