As the 2026 elections draw near, the media team of a leading governorship aspirant of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Senator Iyiola Omisore, says nothing has changed in Osun State under Governor Ademola Adeleke.
The team said that the state stands at a critical crossroads; noting that after years of Adeleke’s administration, many citizens are asking the hard but necessary question: What has truly changed for the better?
It noted that the governor entered office with much fanfare, dancing into the hearts of many with promises of transformation.
However, it regretted that after nearly four years, the rhythm of governance has lost its beat; saying roads have been patched here and there, but Osun people cannot eat asphalt; and infrastructure without human development is a hollow victory.
It said, “Adeleke’s administration claimed to have created 250,000 jobs — yet our streets are filled with jobless youths. Civil servants see no meaningful reforms.
“The Osun Job Centre, once a beacon of hope, lies abandoned. Its staff dismissed without explanation. Our hospitals remain underfunded, schools are overcrowded, and essential services are collapsing.
“Behind the smiles, selfies, and social media spectacles is a government with no real vision, no clear strategy, and no serious solutions.
“Osun deserves more than a stage play. Our people are not actors in a dance drama — they are citizens demanding real progress.
“The time has come to turn the page. Osun needs leadership grounded in experience, policy, and purpose — not performance.
“Senator Iyiola Omisore is not new to service. As a former Deputy Governor and Senator, he has consistently demonstrated capacity, competence, and commitment to the people.
“Omisore is a technocrat and a visionary. While others chase clout, he builds systems. While others entertain, he engineers results. His track record speaks louder than campaign jingles.
“With Senator Omisore, Osun will not just be rebuilt — it will be reimagined. His governance model focuses on:
“Massive job creation through SME development and innovation, healthcare revitalization from primary centers to tertiary institutions
“Also education reforms to restore quality and access, Transparent governance and institutional reform, and youth and women empowerment as policy, not propaganda.”
The media team hinted that the future of Osun is not in hashtags it is in hard work, planning, and purpose-driven leadership.
It added that Osun deserves leadership, not showmanship, saying:
“Osun deserves progress, not performance. Osun deserves Otunba Iyiola Omisore.”.
