Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke has congratulated Vice President Kashim Shettima on the occasion of his 59th birthday, describing him as a leader with an “unquantifiable zeal for progress.”
In a statement issued by his spokesperson, Mallam Olawale Rasheed, Adeleke lauded the Vice President’s long-standing commitment to public service, highlighting his transformative leadership and dedication to national development.
He said, “On this day, I celebrate Vice President, His Excellency Kashim Shettima, GCON, on the occasion of his 59th birthday.
“Senator Shettima is a practical reflection of dedication, investing decades of his life in the service of the people and contributing to the progress of society.”
The governor praised Shettima’s legacy as former Governor of Borno State, noting his resilience in the face of security challenges and his efforts to safeguard his people.
He also commended Shettima’s role as Vice President, particularly his effective coordination of economic policies and distribution of palliatives following the removal of fuel subsidy.
He further acknowledged his intellectual capacity and his skill in harnessing human capital to advance national interests, especially through the National Economic Council (NEC).
Adeleke prayed for the Vice President’s continued health and strength, saying: “May Almighty Allah bless him with many more celebrations in good health and sound mind, so he may continue to guide and inspire those who look up to him.”
