A security supervisor working at Hilton Hotels, Ile-Ife, Osun State, Oluwole Lawrence, yesterday told the Osun State High Court that 15 other guests lodged at the Hilton Hotel same night the late Timothy Adegoke was there.
Lawrence, who is the fourth defendant in the trial, testified before Justice Oyebola Ojo. He said: “I work as a security supervisor for the two hotels owned by Dr Rahmon Adedoyin. My work is to prevent fraud by knowing the number of rooms taken.
“On November 6, 2021, I went to the hotel to check rooms that were not given out and I met Adesola Adedeji at the Hotel Hilton Honour, Ile-Ife. I asked how many rooms were sold; she said 16 rooms. I told her to follow me to check the rooms and she did. We confirmed sale, I signed and left. I didn’t return to the hotel again until I was called on November 12 to come to the hotel and I was arrested.
Also, a receptionist who is one of the defendants, Magdalene Chiefuna, said two other receptionists – Esther Azigor and Quadri Moshood, and son of the owner who doubles as the Director, have run away.
