Adebayo Salami, the ace Nigerian actor, with stage name Oga Bello, broke down in tears as his children gifted him an SUV in celebration of his 70th birthday.
His equally movie star son Femi Adebayo, shared a video where his dad, in the company of his family members, received the gift.
In the video, the actor could be seen getting emotional while receiving the gift as others hailed and sang his praises.
In the caption, Femi said it was unusual for his dad, who he described as a disciplinarian, to cry.
According to him: “I’ve always known my Dad to be a disciplinarian. My Daddy never cries but today, he couldn’t hold the emotions. I couldn’t also hold mine honestly,” Adebayo wrote on Monday.
“I’m so grateful to Almighty God that Daddy could see this day and he made it possible for us to deliver this gift. Happy 70th Daddy, we love you.”

Celebrating his birthday in an Instagram post, Salami said life made more meaning to him through the blessings of his family and the unending legacies of his career.
He wrote: “At 70, life makes more meaning to me through the blessings of family and endearing legacies of my career. Alhamdulillah for the grace of this day. Happy 70th birthday to me Aremu Adebayo Salami,” he wrote.
