ADC: We’ll soon expose INEC’s ridiculous activities, inconsistencies – Nwosu

News

Former National Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Mr. Ralph Nwosu, has vowed that the party will expose the ridiculous and inconsistencies of the actions of the Independent National Electoral Commission in the coming days.

This was as he vowed that the ADC will challenge INEC over what he described as recent “illegal and faulty decision” on the leadership status of the party.

Nwosu also promised that the ADC will provide a detailed rebuttal backed by evidence within days to show Nigerians that INEC merely bowed to pressure from the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu-led Federal Government and the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC).

Nwosu, who stated these when he featured on Arise Television on Thursday, April 2, 2026, expressed strong dissatisfaction with INEC’s actions, describing it as unjustifiable and totally misleading.

The former National Chairman of the ADC further said that the party leadership is already mobilizing to counter the INEC’s position through both public engagement and documentation.

In the words of Nwosu; “The ADC will, within a short timeframe, present comprehensive evidence to discredit INEC’s stance and demonstrate that due process was followed in establishing the party’s current leadership structure.

“Within the next two days, we are going to show the world exactly how ridiculous what INEC is doing truly is, because we have all the documents,” he stated.

Nwosu further said that the ADC possesses certified records, including documents validated by INEC itself, stressing that the documents will expose inconsistencies in the commission’s recent decisions, adding that the planned disclosure is intended not only to defend the legitimacy of the ADC’s leadership, but also to hold INEC accountable in the court of public opinion.

Nwosu’s remarks come amid escalating tensions within the ADC, following INEC’s move to alter its recognition of key party officials and suspend acknowledgment of certain internal processes pending legal resolution.

The development has triggered a fresh round of political and legal contestation ahead of Nigeria’s 2027 general elections.

Nwosu insisted that the ADC remains confident in its position and is prepared to confront the situation head-on, stressing that the coming days will be critical in shaping public perception of the dispute.
