Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke
The Special Adviser to Osun State Governor on Asset Management, Mrs Fausat Sarumi Adebanjo has called on the general public, especially those in possession of government property, to report such to the Agency, located in the premises of Staff Development Centre, back of Bola Ige House, Abere, Osogbo for proper discussion and agreement.
She made this call in Osogbo, on a radio and television programme tagged ” Imole Ayo” where she stressed that proper action will be taken by the government if those involved refuse to do the needful.
Avcording to her, anyone who wants to use government property will pay certain amount into government coffers.
She disclosed that her office is working hard to digitize all Osun assets for easy monitoring.
The SA explained that any government property that has been damaged beyond repairs, or is no longer useful, will be auctioned to generate more revenue, assuring Osun people that 70 percent of the State assets is presently in the record of the Agency, which is still working hard to recover others for proper documentation.
She sought the co-operation of the people of the state with the agencyto generate more revenue for the state.
