Osun State governor, Ademola Adeleke, on Tuesday, boasted that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) will unseat the All Progressive Congress (APC) in the November 11 governorship election in Kogi.

Adeleke is the chairman of the PDP Campaign Council for the November 11 gubernatorial election.

The incumbent governor of Kogi is Yahaya Bello of the All Progressive Congress (APC).

Ahmed Ododo is the candidate for the ruling APC ahead of the November gubernatorial election while Dino Melaye will fly the flag of the PDP.

Speaking with members of his committee for the election during their inaugural meeting at the party headquarters in Abuja on Monday, Adeleke urged them to be committed to the party’s victory.

He stated that they must do everything possible in achieving their goal of delivering Senator Dino Melaye as Governor on November 11.

“I am from the west, and Dino Melaye is from the west of Kogi state, it is the turn of the west in Kogi state to produce the governor.

“As committee members, we must commit our energy to achieve success because we mean business, you must be ready to make sacrifices, let us join hands together so that we can take Kogi and move Kogi forward.

“I am bringing you the template of IMOLE from Osun state. I am bringing with me the secrets of hard work and success story. Let us work and deliver.

“Forget the fact that we are going against an incumbent, I have defeated incumbents several times, if we focus our mind and we have faith anything can be done. We must believe in what we are doing.”
