This is fine.It is our Prayer. Righteousness is key and IN-THING for New Nigeria.
But,it goes beyond the mere rhetorics of “Newness”.
Newness in what and what ?
Newness in name ?
Newness in change of President as usual ?
Newness in change of Party ?
Newness without the change of Leadership’s vision and perception ?
Newness with this old and archaic order of cheating those that are laying the golden eggs ?
Can something be put on nothing ?
Newness without restructuring ?
Is it only when we change the President ?
Can a tree make a forest ?.
Having a “New Nigeria” must not be by still putting “old wine in new bottle”.It can’t work.
Force and Threats cannot make it to work.
Executive Order too cannot solve it if we refused to do the needful on time.
Nigerians are Wiser.
The President means much if he has good vision. But,the President alone, cannot do or solve all the huge problems of Nigeria without the full support of the National, State Assemblies, Governors, Ministers, New Constitution and the Citizens.
Nigerians have been pushed to the wall and from there, we have learnt our lessons in the hard ways.
Most of our leaders have gone mad again.
Therefore, the handwriting on the wall teaches us that, Nigeria totally needs overhauling/absolute restructuring in virtually all things even including the Church/Mosque, Leaders and Servants/Citizens.
This faulty, patched, battered and bastardized 1999 Constitution (as amended) needs to be hospitalized for surgery because it can never take Nigerians anywhere in this new age.
To be clever by half is to postpone the evil days which we don’t pray for because God has warned us enough but we are hardened at heart thinking we are clever while we are seriously over-riding ourselves.
With Nigeria’s faulty foundation, an Angel President may find it very difficult to succeed unless he walks with God in truth and holiness and see Nigeria and all Nigerians as his constituency without double dealing.
Two People (You and God) must walk and work with the same vision. Can two people walk together unless they reconcile ?
Amos 3:3
Can two walk together, except they be agreed?
One can’t but agree with God to succeed.
The next President must be prepared to reconcile all Nigerians, banish poverty through productive business ventures, good stomach infrastructure, Graduate Employment, run governance with equity, fairness and justice.
These are the medicines we need than ember of hatred, kidnapping and guns.
It is then we can have a true New Nigeria of our dream where Nigeria will be at par with Comity of Nations. This is also God’s desire for us.
Psalms 72:1
Give the king thy judgments, O God, and thy righteousness unto the king’s son.
Proverbs 16:12
It is an abomination to kings to commit wickedness: for the throne is established by righteousness.
Proverbs 25:5
Take away the wicked from before the king, and his throne shall be established in righteousness.
Isaiah 16:5
And in mercy shall the throne be established: and he shall sit upon it in truth in the tabernacle of David, judging, and seeking judgment, and hasting righteousness.
Isaiah 32:1
Behold, a king shall reign in righteousness, and princes shall rule in judgment.
Matthew 6:33
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Romans 14:17
For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.
God Bless.
