Ever since  Olori Badirat Olaitan Ajoke tied nuptial knot with revered octogenarian and monarch, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi, the Alaafin of Oyo, she has not failed to show the world that she was properly trained and nurtured for royalty all her life.

The Marketing graduate of Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin, oozes royalty with blue blood flowing in her veins.

The stylish HRM logistics boss, connotes beauty, class, panache laced with alluring gait. Her fashion combination and skin colour gained her several admirers from different strata of life. Queen Ola as she is fondly called, has gained the trust of her husband and she has remained one of the most educated and loved queens in the palace.

Palace sources confirmed that; “She is a well cultured, trained and respectful. She has never had any issues with her senior queens in the palace. She is a peace loving individual and also a religious person who does not joke with her creator through prayers”.

The graduate of Educational Management from the University of Ibadan is not having the best of time lately. The reason is not far-fetched; traducers are looking for every possible opportunity to pull her down by rubbing her reputation in the mud; casting aspersions and flocking the media space with disparging comments by romantically linking her with an extra-marital affair with a popular Fuji musician.

Sources told Society Rendezvous that, nothing of such ever happened as the NCE holder in Business Education from Emmanuel Alayande College of Education, Oyo, is totally clean from the allegations being peddled against her.

“Olori Badirat has never been disloyal to her husband and it’s a fact that can’t be contested. It’s the work of her enemies and those who want to create unrest in the palace. To be truthful, her marriage to Alaafin is still intact. There has never been a time she was sent parking as it was circulated. She will never commit such an act knowing fully well the consequences that might follow.”

Another source further added that; “Queen Ola has remained unperturbed since the peddled rumour fuelled against her on social media went viral. It’s totally fake and should be disregarded with disdain. Those behind it are enemies of progress.”

The above reports were sourced from The Nation.

Other sources apart from that newspaper, reported among others that the Queen, one of the young wives of the Alaafin, had denied the allegations of having an extra-marital affair with veteran Fuji musician, Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, KWAM 1, the Maiyegun of Yorubaland.

She had wondered why Dublin-based blogger, Esther Aboderin a.k.a Esabod, who she identified as the originator of the allegation, made up such lies about her.

The Queen, who disclosed this in a recorded phone interview with an On-air personality, also called on the deities of the land to punish her if she ever had an affair with the Fuji icon.

She swore that the gods should kill  her if she had indulged in such act and then cursed the controversial blogger stating ” If she lied against me, let the gods deal with her.

I have not heard of this woman until now and do not know why she picked me for her dirty job.

In an interview with the President Egbe Omo Oyo Alaafin, Aare Alamoroof, Queen Ola invoked the oracles of Oyo palace and spiritual mothers to punish her if she had an adulterous affair with the Fuji singer.

She said;

“Someone from United Kingdom sent me a video of allegations that were made by a popular blogger, Esther Aboderin aka Esabod, in the video she claims she warned the king before making KWAM1 Mayegun of Yoruba Land but he refused to listen and now he is sleeping with his wife.

“That was the first time I will hear about Esabodso I decided to check further and I saw more on the infidelity allegations and other bad things she has said about me.

“I don’t know why people are continuing to say bad things about me.

“If it is true that I’m having an affair with Wasiu, let all oracles of the Oyo Palace punish me, the spirits of ‘Ayaba’ and fore kings of the land should punish me. If otherwise, all these curses goes to Esabod and her children.”

Prior to the interview, the Olori had also shared screenshots of chats with some people she helped in the past, praying for her to be vindicated.

Also in a story titled “KWAM 1 denies having an affair with Alaafin’s wife”, The Nation had reported the denial of the Fuji music maestro as contained in a statement by Kunle Rasheed, KWAM 1’s media adviser.

Apart from denying the allegation, the popular musician had threatened to take legal actions against the mastermind of the allegation.

“Let me categorically state that the rumour is a lie concocted from the pit of hell by those whose aim is to drag into the mud, the name of K1 De Ultimate and ultimately that of the most revered kingdom in Yoruba land. These agents of Lucifer have continued in their warped delusions to see K1 go to the ground just for being conferred with the title of Mayegun of Yoruba land,” Rasheed said.

He said that his principal would institute a legal action against the mastermind of the news, adding: “Let me remind the rumour mongers that Nigeria has adequate laws to bring anyone who has embarked on character assassination of the innocent to book. The fans and the public should rest assured that we will legally seek redress against this allegation.”

KWAM 1’s aide stressed that the 63-year-old Fuji musician is aware of the custom and tradition of the Yoruba and as such, cannot bring disrepute to them.

He said KWAM 1 reacted to set the record straight.

He said: “Let me categorically state that the rumour is lies concocted from the pit of hell by those whose aim is to drag to the mud, the name of K1 De Ultimate and ultimately that of a most revered kingdom in Yoruba land.

“These agents of Lucifer have continued in their warped delusions to see K1 go to the ground just for being conferred with the title of Mayegun of Yoruba land,” KWAM I noted.
