The Rector, Federal Polytechnic, Ile Oluji, Ondo State, Prof Emmanuel Adedayo Fasakin, being conferred with the Year 2019 Most Distinguished Award for Excellence by the Olomuo of Omuo Kingdom, HRM Oba Noah Omonigbehin, on behalf of Omuo Development Union, Omuo Ekiti, Ekiti State, on Thursday, 26th December 2019.

Omuo Ekiti community in Ekiti State on Thursday December 26, 2019 honoured the Rector of the Federal Polytechnic, Ile Oluji, Ondo State, Prof Emmanuel Adedayo Fasakin with the Year 2019 Most Distinguished Award for Excellence.
This is in recognition of his passion and contributions to human and capital development particularly of Omuo Kingdom; a case of a Prophet being recognised by his community.
While conferring the award on him, the Olomuo of Omuo Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oba Noah Omonigbehin, commended the Rector for what he described as his stellar qualities and drive for the educational development of the Community and beyond.
The Royal Father said that Prof Fasakin, an illustrious son of Omuo Ekiti is being celebrated by the Community because of his positive impact on all and sundry.
Responding, the Rector thanked the Omuo Kingdom for the rare honour accorded him, pledging that this would encourage him to do more for the Community and humanity generally in the area of human capital development.
The event, which held at Okunbaloye Hall at Olomuo Palace attracted illustrious sons and daughters of the Kingdom as well as dignitaries from all walks of life.
