Aiyedatiwa leads Ondo APC Presidential Campaign Council for 2027

By Ade Oyeyemi

The Ondo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress has constituted a 228-member Presidential Campaign Council ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The council, chaired by the state Governor, Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, is expected to coordinate the party’s campaign activities, grassroots mobilisation and support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and other APC candidates in the elections.

The party said the council brings together political leaders, stakeholders, women and youth representatives, support groups and grassroots mobilisers from across the 18 local government areas of the state.

According to the APC, the campaign structure is also aimed at strengthening unity among party members and advancing the Renewed Hope Agenda ahead of the elections.

The former Ondo State Governor, Olusegun Mimiko, is listed as a member of the council, while Victor Adekanye Olabimtan is the Director-General. Sylvester Olumuyiwa Adu is the Deputy Director-General.

Other members include Deputy Governor Olaide Adelami; Speaker of the Ondo State House of Assembly, Olamide Oladiji; and several serving and former federal and state lawmakers.

The council also has Bunmi Tunji-Ojo, Ayodele Olawamide and several political stakeholders as members.

The party said the campaign council would work towards mobilising support for Tinubu and other APC candidates across the state.
