Ondo SSG, Dr Taiwo Fasoranti
Ondo State Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa has re-appointed Dr. Taiwo Fasoranti as the Secretary to the State Government (SSG).
A statement by the governor’s spokesman, Ebenezer Adeniyan, said the appointment takes immediate effect.
Fasoranti was the SSG until March 30, 2026 when he resigned to contest the Senate primaries of the All Progressives Congress, APC, for Ondo Central Senatorial District, which he won.
But following the review of appeals against the outcome of the exercise, the APC national executive substituted his name with that of the incumbent Senator Niyi Adegbonmire. The party also did same for some other winners of the party’s primaries in the state and some other states.
Fasoranti, a son of Afenifere leader, Papa Reuben Famuyide Fasoranti, brings to the office a wealth of experience in public administration, policy formulation, and governance.
The Governor congratulates Fasoranti on his appointment and charged him to justify the confidence reposed in him by serving the people of Ondo State with dedication, integrity, and commitment to the Our Ease agenda of his administration.
