God will restore the glory of Nigeria: Where are the Democrats?

Opinion

Nigeria, one time acclaimed as “Giant of Africa’ is today a mere entertaining Country.

The recent abduction of school pupils and their teachers in Ogbomoso is a painful story.Worst is the beheading of the principal by gunmen who never meant well for the peace of this nation.

The recent conclusion of primary elections with acrimonies, shootings and thuggery do not represent the import and beauty of democracy.

Late sage, Chief Michael Adekunle Ajssin explained the chemistry of democracy as “l talk and You talk”.

Abraham Lincon puts it as “Govt of the people by the people and for the people”
The summation of these views justified representation in Governance.

Nigeria has come a long way with significant achievements from our past heroes like Late (Dr) Nnamdi Azikwe, Chief Obafemi Awolowo and Ahmadu Bello.

The dividends of democracy during their time were legacies that solidified Nigeria and better the welfare of the governed.

Any news today about Nigeria is all about embarrassments and ugly entertainment.

The lost glory can only be restored when people of God’s choice are in power.

Insecurity on one hand, penury and hardship on the other hand.

Corruption and insensitivity in high places, leadership /followers hip in falsehood with lack of direction keeps one in doubt about a bright future for the Nigeria.

Recently an election, not intra primary election was conducted in UK, no noise, no gun shooting and no imposition by God fathers.

When will Nigerians get it right.O giant of Africa, rise and bright back to glory.

Today, South Afica is advocating for the exit of Nigerians and Ghana is not left out of thesame agitation.

Most Professionals have left the country in search of greener pastures.

As varying elections are in the offing, Electorates are challenged to the realities facing the country and vote rightly.

God will help this nation to redeem her lost values.
