Osun State Polytechnic (OSPOLY), Iree, has resumed academic activities across all programmes and levels of the institution with effect from Monday, June 1, 2026.
In a statement issued by the Registrar of the Polytechnic, Mr. Abiodun Oloyede, students were directed to return to campus for lectures and other academic engagements.
He also disclosed that Daily Part-Time students would commence their first semester examinations in the coming days.
Oloyede urged students, parents, guardians and members of the public to disregard reports circulating in some quarters suggesting that the institution would not resume academic activities as scheduled.
According to him, the institution is fully prepared for the continuation of academic programmes following the completion of the first semester examinations for full-time students and the conclusion of the Eid-el-Fitr break.
“Following the completion of the first semester examination for our full-time students and resumption from the Eid-el-Fitr break, we are directing all our students to resume forthwith.
Lectures and other academic activities will commence immediately,” he stated.
He further called on students and other stakeholders to ignore what he described as false information regarding the institution’s resumption.
The Registrar assured students of their safety, noting that adequate security measures have been put in place to ensure a conducive learning environment within and around the campus.
